From Caterpillar to Butterfly
Addressing the deep longing for meaning and fulfilment ‘From Caterpillar to Butterfly’ is a profound journey of tackling the grand topics of PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION and CULTURAL R-EVOLUTION.
The aim of the project 'From Caterpillar to Butterfly' AIM is to promote Quality in youth work, to foster Social Inclusion, to ease the transition of Youth to Adulthood and promote the development of the Skills, Competences of youth, especially for the ones with fewer opportunities.
We are addressing this AIM by introducing and working with these 3 innovative concepts which are embedded in the Ecocentric and Soulcentric Approach:
Resource-based Human Wholeness Model: a model which illustrates how a person can be whole, acknowledging and cultivating their innate unique resources, competences, gifts & potential. This model is suitable for promoting the acquisition of Skills and Competences by youth.
Eco-soulcentric Development Education: an education concept which illustrates the healthy maturity of individuals and culture. Rooted in the wisdom of Nature, it offers a promising invitation for sustainable and healthy transformation from Youth to Adulthood. This concept is suitable for strengthening the Employability of youth.
Mentoring: the process of guiding and supporting youth to make progress is their life. It offers a safe space where they can express themselves freely, be heard, understood and guided to show themselves more in the world. This concept is suitable for facilitating the Inclusion of youth in Society.
This project is made possible with the financial support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. (Funding line of Key Action 2: Partnerships for Cooperation in the field of youth).
The educational materials developed through this project are:
Series of Long Videos: Eco-Soulcentric Human Development
This series of 13 videos, explores the Eco-Soulcentric Human Development Wheel and practices around it. The Eco-Soulcentric Human Development Wheel is a profound map of human maturation rooted in nature-based and soul-honoring cultures. Developed by Bill Plotkin, this model supports individuals in discovering and living from their deepest, most authentic potentials -their unique souls!- so they may offer their most life-nourishing gifts to community, culture and Earth, and participate consciously in the Earth’s ongoing evolution.
Series of short videos: Practices of Wholeness
In this series of 12 videos, Sandra Horea, Eleni Michail and Sara Marzo share practices that invite a return and cultivation of wholeness. Through poetry, guided practices and the presentation of embodied activities, these offerings create pathways for coming closer to inner home. Our human wholeness is the essential soil into which we need to root and from which we can truly journey far and descend deep.
Online Workshops:
This series of 3 online workshops offers a deep, experiential journey into soul, meaning and cultural renewal.
1. Soul and Spirit. Spiraling up and down accessing inner resources
This online workshop invites participants to explore the realms of Soul and Spirit as essential dimensions of human maturation and original wholeness. By crossing an inner threshold, we access deep inner resources that nourish purpose, mythopoetic identity, and connection to the greater whole.
2. Pathways to Meaning and Purpose – Seeding for the future
This online workshop explores the soulcentric and ecocentric stages of human development as pathways toward meaning, purpose, and authentic belonging. Through Soulcraft practices and archetypal exploration, participants cultivate inner gifts and soul-powers in service to life.
3. Seeds for the R-Evolution
This online workshop explores soul-rooted mentoring as a response to the personal and cultural transformations our times demand. Participants are invited to embody mentoring as a living practice that supports wholeness, guidance, and the conscious shaping of a life-centered culture.
The Manual Guide to Soul offers pathways and practices that support the unfolding of youth. By rootng in educatonal concepts such as the Eco-Soulcentric Development and Human Wholeness (concepts developed by Bill Plotkin, Ph.D) and using methods inspired by Nature and Art, it intends to support the flourishing of individuals, young people and especially the vulnerable youth.
Within these pages lie invitatons for individual work and reflection. The invitatons follow a progressive sequence with an intenton to guide an individual to reach their deepest treasures, their Soul. We believe that those who use these actvites will contribute to the cultivation of the innate, endless and tremendous potental of every person they work with.
‘Why the Soulful Living?’ Summit
‘Why the Soulful Living?’ Summit was a transformative online gathering designed to inspire personal, collective and cultural evolution. This unique event brought together 12 visionary leaders, guides and mentors who live and lead from their Soul’s wisdom. They are beacons of true adulthood - modeling maturity, courage, and a profound connection to the web of life.
Together, we explored the possibility of deep-rooted transformation: fostering a world of reciprocity, where soul-initiated adults offer their gifts to nourish humanity and the Earth. This summit calls us to a new paradigm of "adulting" and living life from our Soul identity - maturing for the future and becoming stewards of a sustainable, eco-soulcentric world.
